    NYPD cops shot in the Bronx in 2 separate incidents, 1 suspect in custody





    A New York City police lieutenant was shot in the arm in the Bronx Sunday morning, around 12 hours after another official was shot in the head while on watch close by, police specialists said. 

    The Sunday morning occurrence occurred in the 41st Precinct in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx, where cops rapidly cordoned off the lanes and secured a suspect, who is accepted to interface the earlier evening's shooting, various authorities disclosed to ABC News.

    Police say the official injured in Saturday's assault hollered once he saw the weapon and put the squad car into drive however was struck by a shot in the neck and jaw during the uproar. Officials were not ready to return fire during the episode. 

    The official's accomplice at that point promptly drove the harmed man to Lincoln Hospital where he was being dealt with and is required to endure.
