A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. for portions of southeast Michigan along and south of the M-59 corridor Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties, according to the National Weather Service.
Morning commuters may have a slippery drive as light snow remains possible. NWS warns drivers there may be areas of black ice and reduced visibility so the weather service encourages drivers to to slow down and expect delays.
Temperatures are in the mid-20s with a high of 30 today. Winds may reach up to 15 mph.
There may be light snowfall throughout the day and overnight into Friday, totaling about an inch.
Friday is expected to be colder with a high of 29 and a low of about 15. It is expected to be cloudy with a possibility of light snow showers in the morning, according to NWS.

Saturday will be mostly dry and partly cloudy but we may get pops of sun throughout the day, NWS said. The weekend is expected to be off to a cold start with lows in the teens but temperatures are expected to rise to the mid- to high-20s.
Sunday could get warmer, back in the 30s but light snowfall is expected Sunday night into Monday morning.
