LOS ANGELES — When Hollywood regarded the individuals it lost in the most recent year, there were a couple of names discernibly missing from the "In Memoriam" portion during Sunday night's Oscars.
Luke Perry, Cameron Boyce and Sid Haig were excluded from the yearly tribute.
Luke Perry, a local from Mansfield, Ohio, passed on March 4 after a stroke. He was 52. His oversight came as a mistake to his fans who rushed to bring up via web-based networking media that Perry was included in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which was one of the current year's Best Picture chosen people.
Boyce, most popular for his job in Disney's Descendants film arrangement, kicked the bucket July 6 because of inconveniences from epilepsy. He was 20.
Haig, a frightfulness symbol, kicked the bucket Sept. 21. He was 80.
Billie Eilish sang Yesterday while the "In Memoriam" slideshow looked behind her. Among those respected were Kobe Bryant, Doris Day and Kirk Douglas, who kicked the bucket a week ago at 103 years old.
