Heavy rains, flooded streets, at least crashes, says the state police

WYTHE COUNTY, Virginia (WFXR) – The Virginia State Police has an away from for drivers in the midst of overwhelming precipitation and road flooding. Try not to suffocate.

Never drive in overflowed zones, since a vehicle, as indicated by the police, can't shield the driver or the tenants from flooding.

"Particularly after dim, overflowed lanes can be misleading about the profundity of water and the speed at which the water moves," said Corrine N. Geller, executive of advertising, in an announcement

While the police have reacted to mishaps for the duration of the day, they have kept to a base, Geller said.

"Floods can likewise shroud hazardous stores. Vehicles of any size can be cleared away or stay in running water. "

Photographs from the Wytheville police show overflowed boulevards and even a landslide that evacuated a tree that slid to the roadside.
