MONROE, La. – At least three individuals were killed after a little plane smashed Thursday evening in Louisiana, specialists said.
The plane was en route from Jackson Parish to Shreveport. The Monroe Regional Airport tower lost contact with the plane at 2:10 p.m.
As indicated by Jackson Parish Sheriff Andy Brown, the accident happened only north of Chatham, around 25 miles southwest of Monroe.
"We know it's a Cessna, " Brown told the USA TODAY Network.
David Greer, who possesses a logging organization close Chathan, said the plane collided with his shop and there was a noisy blast after it slammed. He said that there were at any rate one dead, yet he thinks there are more individuals dead inside the plane.
